But the trip offered me something completely different, and completely unexpected: silence. And strangely enough, during those days alone, I couldn’t create. I didn’t feel like making anything at all. Instead, I found myself taking long walks through the historic streets, wandering through flea markets and vintage shops, looking at old pottery and collecting little details that stayed with me. I spent long afternoons going to the beach, slowing down enough to actually notice what was around me.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eSicily became a visual paradise of sun-faded colours, old ceramic pots, curious shapes, fresh fruit, warm stone and the smell of the ocean. I found inspiration in places I wasn’t looking for it. And somewhere along the way, I even came across gemstones and glass stones in those beautiful, faded colours that felt so unmistakably Sicilian.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe trip reminded me that sometimes you have to stop creating in order to have something to create from.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eWhen I came back to London, all of those colours, shapes and little memories slowly found their way into my work.
